Failed Presidential candidate and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) sent a letter to the Trump Transition Team Monday, nitpicking Elon Musk’s involvement with the incoming Trump administration and demanding answers as to what ethics standards Elon Musk will be held to as Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) co-chair.
President Trump announced last month that Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will head the external advisory committee, DOGE, which will “provide advice and guidance from outside of Government, and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.”

Warren’s letter to President Trump’s team refers to Musk as Trump’s “unofficial co-president” and says he needs to “resolve his conflicts of interest if he wishes to continue serving as a top adviser to you and your transition team.”
“He should be held to the ethics standards that you have established for your transition team and should provide clarity about his role and his activities in order to reassure the American public that he is working solely on their behalf and not using his role in the transition as an opportunity to fatten his own wallet,” she says.
One of the 14 questions reads, “Moving forward, will he recuse himself from matters affecting Tesla, SpaceX, X, or any other company he owns or in which he has a substantial investment?”
“Putting Mr. Musk in a position to influence billions of dollars of government contracts and regulatory enforcement without a stringent conflict of interest agreement in place is an invitation for corruption on a scale not seen in our lifetimes,” Warren concludes in her letter.

Trump Transition Team Spokeswoman and incoming White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told The Gateway Pundit, “President Trump has assembled the most impressive and qualified team of innovators, entrepreneurs, and geniuses to advise and staff our government.”
Leavitt further slammed Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, cunningly noting the 1/1024 Indian heritage Warren has so proudly touted.
“Pocahontas can play political games and send toothless letters, but the Trump-Vance transition will continue to be held to the highest ethical and legal standards possible—a standard unfamiliar to a career politician whose societal impact is 1/1024th of Elon Musk’s,” Leavitt said.
