YIKES: Comrade Bernie Sanders Seemingly Justifies UnitedHealthcare CEO’s Assassination: “Shooting Somebody in the Back is Totally Unacceptable, But…” (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

The radical left has spent the last week making excuses for the cold-blooded murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Now, Comrade Bernie Sanders (Socialist-VT) can be added to the list.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Thompson was shot in the chest on December 4 outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan in what is believed to be a targeted attack.

Authorities identified Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old former Ivy League student, as the person responsible for the fatal shooting of Thompson. After a days-long manhunt, they arrested Mangione in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after he was spotted inside a McDonald’s.

One of the leftists condoning this crime was Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (D-MA). She told Joy Reid in a recent interview on MSNBC that murdering Thompson was wrong but also served as a “warning” of sorts that “you can only push people so far.”

In other words, Thompson had it coming, according to Warren.

Responding to the vile comments by Warren (D-MA) regarding the crime on NBC’s “Meet the Press” today, Sanders attempted to excuse what she said before appearing to justify Mangione’s actions.

“Shooting somebody in the back is totally unacceptable,” Sanders said. “But what I think has happened in the last few months is that what you have seen is people’s anger at a health insurance industry which denies people the health care they desperately need while they make billions of dollars.”

In other words, Sanders provides a convenient excuse for Mangione’s evil crime because he and others may have been ‘victims’ of the insurance industry’s practices.

This is like blaming a sexual assault victim for wearing ‘provocative’ clothing, for “attracting” her predator. Just absolutely sick.

But for leftists like Sanders and Warren, there are alleviating factors for the worst possible crimes as long as there is a cause they can rally around.
