Jill Biden learned on Friday that kids not only say the darndest things but also possess more wisdom than she and her husband combined.
As UPI reported, Dr. Jill hosted a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots event Friday at the White House. This was part of her Joining Forces Initiative, which supports military families, survivors, and caregivers.
The toys will be donated to economically disadvantaged boys and girls in the Washington, D.C., area. The kids participating in today’s event helped Biden and other volunteers sort the items into boxes for transportation.
But what should have been an uneventful afternoon turned interesting when Dr. Jill greeted the little kids. During the event, video footage caught Biden smiling and waving to the little children before spouting the politically correct greeting, “Happy Holidays!” instead of “Merry Christmas!”
But one little child knew better and immediately corrected the disgraced ‘First Lady’ with two simple words: “Happy Christmas!”
Dr. Jill pretends to be happy and repeats the child’s greeting while chuckling.

Whether one wants to say “Happy Christmas” or “Merry Christmas,” this is yet another sign sanity is returning to America after four years of misery.
As TGP readers know, one of President Trump’s promises during his first run for the Oval Office was to ensure Americans started saying “Merry Christmas” again.
“I’m a good Christian, remember that. And I told you about Christmas and I guarantee if I become president we are going to be saying “Merry Christmas” at every store!” Trump said back in June 2016.
The future of America is looking brighter by the day with not only Trump returning but also with our nation’s youth.
