Famous actress Roseanne Burr took to Twitter and expressed her desire to be Donald Trump’s Vice President, should he become President again.
In a scathing critique on the Daily Show, actor John Leguizamo criticized Univision for what he perceived as a “softball interview” with former President Donald Trump. The heated rant targeted both the Spanish-language network and correspondent Enrique Acevedo, accusing them of not taking a rigorous approach with the former president. Leguizamo expressed disappointment that the opportunity to interview Trump wasn’t used to confront him on what he described as “hardline anti-Latino policies.” Using colorful language, Leguizamo characterized the interview as “caca mierda,” translating to poop in Spanish.
A specific point of contention for Leguizamo was Acevedo’s question to Trump about the increasing identification of Latinos as conservatives. Expressing a desire for a more confrontational follow-up, Leguizamo humorously suggested a question about Trump’s anatomy, stating, “Is it true that to look upon your penis, it would be like, I don’t know, gazing into the very face of God?”
The actor went on to highlight a perceived connection between a top executive at Univision and a prominent member of the Trump family. Leguizamo playfully remarked, “I don’t know all the answers, but maybe it has something to do with Univision’s new co-CEO, Bernardo Gomez, being close friends with Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and the only man with the skin of a flower tortilla.” He concluded by emphasizing that he was posing tough questions, unlike what he saw as the interviewer’s approach at Univision.
