According to a report by Newsweek on November 13, 2023, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who used to be a close friend and adviser of Melania Trump, has denounced the Trump family as a bunch of ruthless and dishonest people who stab anyone who opposes them in the back.
Winston Wolkoff, who served as an unpaid aide for the former first lady and helped plan the 2017 inauguration, said that she was made a scapegoat and maligned by the Trumps after a scandal involving the misappropriation of inauguration funds.
She claimed that Melania Trump did not support her or protect her from the false allegations, and instead severed their 15-year friendship
Winston Wolkoff wrote a revealing book about her experience with the Trumps, titled Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady, which was released in 2020.
In the book, she disclosed many details about Melania Trump’s character, relationship with Donald Trump, and conflict with Ivanka Trump, whom she nicknamed “Princess.”
She also said that she collaborated with investigators who were probing the financial crimes committed by the Trump Organization and the Trump Inaugural Committee.
Wolkoff said that she provided documents and recordings that confirmed the involvement of the Trumps and their associates in the fraud and tax evasion schemes.
Winston Wolkoff recently repeated her accusations against the Trump family in a series of posts on X, a social media platform that replaced Twitter after it was banned by the US government in 2022.
She said that the Trumps are experts in “gaslighting and deflection,” and that they use “non-disclosure agreements and subpoenas” to silence and intimidate their critics and former allies.
Stephanie Wolkoff also said that Melania Trump is the “queen of betrayal, deceit, lies, and grift,” and that she is not the mysterious and enigmatic person that she pretends to be.
She said that Melania Trump’s silence and lack of communication with the media and the public are part of her strategy to shield herself and her image.
Winston Wolkoff said that Melania Trump has an “ongoing pre-approved list” of words that she wants to be described as, such as “confident, strong, and independent.”
She said that Melania Trump is actually a “completely transactional” person who only cares about her own interests and benefits.
Stephanie said that Melania Trump’s marriage to Donald Trump is not based on love, but on a mutual agreement to advance their careers and agendas.
She said that Melania Trump does not care about the welfare of the American people or the country, and that she only supported Donald Trump’s policies and actions out of loyalty and obligation.
Wolkoff said that Melania Trump was complicit in Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results, incite the January 6 insurrection, and spread misinformation and conspiracy theories.
She said that Melania Trump was aware of Donald Trump’s affairs and sexual misconduct allegations, but chose to ignore them and stay with him.
Winston said that Melania Trump was also involved in the illegal activities of the Trump Organization and the Trump Inaugural Committee, and that she benefited from the untaxed corporate perks and lavish spending.
She said that she hopes that the ongoing investigations and trials will expose the truth and hold the Trumps accountable for their crimes and corruption.
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff said that she regrets ever being friends with Melania Trump, and that she feels betrayed and disappointed by her former friend.
She said that she wants to warn the public and the world about the dangers and damages that the Trump family can cause, and that she hopes that they will never return to power again.
