The long-rumored manifesto authored by the suspect in UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has leaked.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Thompson was shot in the chest last Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan in what is believed to be a targeted attack.
Authorities identified Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old former Ivy League student, as the person responsible for the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. After a days-long manhunt, they arrested Mangione in Altoona, Pennsylvania after being spotted inside a McDonald’s.
Police authorities also discovered Mangione wrote a manifesto confessing to the murder and railing against America’s health industry. While numerous individuals before have claimed to have seen the reported document from the suspect, these turned out to be false reports.
But liberal reporter Ken Klippenstein has now leaked an actual copy of Mangione’s manifesto. Klippenstein says multiple corporate media outlets also possessed the document but have refused to publish it.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed the authenticity of the manifesto.
The words in the document align perfectly with previous reporting.
In his manifesto, Mangione admits he is responsible for Thompson’s death and that he acted alone. He then apologizes for “any strife or traumas, but it had to be done” and says that “these parasites had it coming.”
The Gateway Pundit reported his admission to the crime and these phrases appeared in the manifesto.
Mangione then rails against the healthcare industry, focusing primarily on UnitedHealthcare. His rant reads like a Bernie Sanders speech on the Senate floor.
This, too, is consistent with reporting from TGP and other outlets.
The manifesto clocks in at a total of 261 words. The New York Times reported that the manifesto was roughly 262 words long.
Per Klippenstein, below is Mangione’s full manifesto:
To the Feds, I’ll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn’t working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience.
The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy.
United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allowed them to get away with it.
Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.
