Fleitz noted that the responses to these attacks have been limited, describing them as “pinprick airstrikes.”
Focusing on the actions of Houthi rebels, Fleitz pointed out their missile and drone attacks on ships in the Red Sea and Israel.
Despite the formation of a naval coalition to counter these threats, the Houthi rebels have disregarded these efforts.
Fleitz attributed the activities of both the Houthis and the militias in Iraq and Syria to Iran’s backing, highlighting a perceived lack of deterrence and respect for the United States under Biden’s leadership.
“I think in 2024, we’re going to see American adversaries around the world racing to take advantage of Biden’s weakness because they believe Biden may be defeated next November and will be succeeded by a much more competent and decisive president, which my hope is will be Donald Trump,” Fleitz stated during the interview.
