Former President Donald Trump has delivered a stark Christmas message to his followers on Monday, cautioning them that the nation is in the midst of a critical battle against what he described as “MADNESS & DOOM” perpetuated by his political opponents.
According to a report by Mediaite on Monday, December 25, 2023, the message was posted on his Truth Social platform, a platform launched by Trump as an alternative to mainstream social media.
In the Christmas message, Trump lamented the challenges of celebrating the holiday amid what he called a period of political turmoil.
He criticized the current administration, stating, “It’s hard to have a truly great Christmas when you have a Crooked and Incompetent President who wants to put his Political Opponent in jail.”
Trump accused his opponents of using the levers of law enforcement in an illegal manner to target him, emphasizing that the country is in the midst of a struggle to save itself from what he perceives as impending doom.
The message concluded with a rallying cry for his supporters: “We are in the fight of our lives to save our Country from madness & doom. MAGA 2024!!!”
Prior to this Christmas message, Trump had predicted a “Glorious victory” for his supporters, whom he referred to as “PATRIOTS,” in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He asserted that the year 2024 would be remembered for widespread and coordinated illegal election interference orchestrated by President Joe Biden, whom he labeled as the “Worst and most corrupt President in the history of United States.”
Despite these challenges, Trump expressed confidence in a triumphant outcome for those he called “Brave and valiant patriots who want to make America great again.”
This doom-filled post came on the heels of an “enraged” Christmas Eve message where Trump, in all-caps, blamed “Joe Biden Misfits and thugs” for causing distress in his life, asserting that it was a result of “Election interference.”
The former president’s dire warning resonated with some of his ardent supporters.
Notably, Laura Loomer, a fervent Trump acolyte, echoed his sentiments and urged individuals to contemplate the gravity of the situation during the holiday season.
Loomer stated, “Merry Christmas. While you are with your family today, please take time to think about how this might be the last Christmas you ever celebrate with your family if Donald Trump isn’t re-elected. The situation in our country and the world is that dire.”
