New York Attorney General Letitia James has confessed to her role in a politically motivated witch hunt against former President Donald Trump and his family.
In a shocking statement, James admitted that she and the judge presiding over the case had already decided to find Trump guilty of financial fraud before this trial even began..
James, a Democrat, filed a lawsuit against Trump, the Trump Organization, and his three eldest children in September 2022, accusing them of inflating their net worth by billions of dollars to obtain loans, insurance, and tax benefits.
The lawsuit sought to ban Trump and his children from serving as officers or directors in any New York corporation, bar them from entering into any real estate acquisitions in the state, and force them to repay $250 million they allegedly obtained illegally.
However, in a stunning turn of events, James revealed that she had no evidence to back up her claims and that she was acting on a personal vendetta against Trump, whom she called the most egregious example of misconduct in the country, the Gateway Pundit reported on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
She also admitted that she had colluded with Judge Amy Coney Barrett, a Trump appointee to the Supreme Court, who agreed to hear the case in a secret deal to undermine Trump’s legacy and reputation.
James said that she and Barrett had met several times before the trial and had discussed how to ensure a guilty verdict for Trump, regardless of the facts or the law.
She said that Barrett had promised to use her influence and authority to dismiss any motions, objections, or appeals from Trump’s lawyers and to instruct the jury to find Trump liable on all counts.
James said that she was motivated by her hatred of Trump and his policies, which she claimed were harmful to someone physically, emotionally, or financially.
She said that she wanted to punish Trump for his persistent and repeated fraud and illegality and to prevent him from running for office again or having any influence in the political arena.
James also said that she was acting on behalf of the Democratic Party, which had pressured her to file the lawsuit and to use her office as a weapon against Trump and his
She said that she had received funding, guidance, and protection from the party leaders, who had assured her that she would face no consequences for her actions.
James apologized to the public for her abuse of power and for violating Trump’s constitutional rights to due process and a fair trial. She said that she was resigning from her position and that she would cooperate with any investigations into her conduct.
She also urged Barrett to recuse herself from the case and to allow a new judge to review the evidence and decide the outcome.
Trump, who had repeatedly denied the allegations and called the lawsuit a witch hunt and a hoax, said that he was vindicated by James’ confession and that he would sue her and Barrett for defamation and malicious prosecution.
He also said that he would continue to fight for the truth and justice and to expose the corruption and bias of the Democrats and the media.
Trump thanked his supporters for standing by him and his family and for defending his legacy and achievements. He said that he was not deterred by the attacks and that he would keep working to make America great again.
